Taylor Swift is the one who rules the whole world with her music. They have a new album out called The Tortured Poets Department. Regarding this album, she has also announced which major music artist will be collaborating with him on its first single and that is none other than Post Malone. The news was announced via X on Thursday, April 18, just hours before the 34-year-old pop icon dropped her new album.
Taylor Swift – “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Taylor tweeted that the first single from The Tortured Poets Department is 'Fortnight' featuring @postmalone. She is a big fan of this post because what she admires is the writer, his musical experimentation and the tunes he creates that stick in your mind forever. They also worked together on Fortnite and got to see that magic come to life firsthand. She says she honestly can't wait for people to hear the song tonight at midnight and watch the video tomorrow night at 8 PM ET. Taylor's explosive new album is set to drop at midnight on Friday, April 19. Taylor accepted an award at the Grammys earlier this year and made the announcement while doing so. After this announcement, Swifties have become curious to see and listen to this album and they are all eagerly waiting for it.
The pop singer received this award for the Best Pop Vocal Album and while receiving it she said that she has been hiding a secret from everyone for two years, so now she wants to thank the fans by telling this secret. This is called the department of tortured poets. She's just going to go and post the cover backstage. Thank you she loves everyone so much! Many fans believe that Taylor's upcoming new album may be inspired by her breakup with ex-boyfriend Alwyn. Taylor Swift dated her ex-boyfriend from 2016 to mid-2023 and after that she decided to move on with her current boyfriend Travis Kelce. During a 2022 conversation with Variety, Joe, 33, talked about a group chat he was in with other friends called the "Tortured Man Club." This is why Swifties believe that Taylor's new album is pointing towards this statement. Joe said at the time that this is a tortured man's club and that Andrew Scott started the group and is just sending good morning messages to himself. He was both in the Sally Rooney universe at the time and crossed with Lenny Abrahamson.
